Today’s exercise is different: you’re going to sit with a teammate and walk them through one of the workflows you’ve learned. This is the most effective way to solidify your own skills, identify gaps in the playbook, and start building organizational momentum.

Choose Your Pairing Session

Pick the format that fits your teammate’s role:

For a Writer / Reporter

Show them: Title Suggestions + Excerpt Generation + Content Multiplication

  1. Open one of their recent drafts
  2. Run Title Suggestions and compare alternatives together
  3. Generate a meta description and social posts from their article

For an Editor

Show them: The 15-Minute Sprint + Newsletter Drafting

  1. Run the daily standup prompt live, using your actual site data
  2. Generate a newsletter draft together

For a Product / Tech Person

Show them: Studio Code + MCP + Abilities API

  1. Spin up a local site with Studio CLI
  2. Connect Claude via MCP
  3. Run a performance audit
  4. Show the Abilities API endpoint and discuss custom abilities for your site

Pairing Tips

  • Use their real content โ€” demos with fake data don’t stick. Use actual articles, actual analytics, actual workflows.
  • Let them drive โ€” After showing the first example, hand over the keyboard. Let them type the prompt and iterate.
